Groom's Party

The strong men behind Bianca's Main Man

Building spiritual wealth is about proximity. If you surround yourself by four spiritually broken individuals, you will likely be the fifth, but if you hang around one person of great faith that proximity might change your life. The day I met Cal, I knew that I had found my brother in faith and friendship. Unofficially we have known each other our entire lives. Calvin attended Corpus Christi Elementary School with Stephanie Dormesy and Patrick Dorime, two of my closest friends. When we all attended NYU I was told he and I would not "click." That couldn't have been farther from the truth and we became best friends almost immediately. During my sophomore year of college Calvin met Bianca via my FB page and she has grown to be my sister. It goes without saying that I am Calvin and Bianca's biggest fans and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for the future Mr. And Mrs. Lambert.

Calvin and I met back in our college days at NYU and over the years our friendship has developed into a brotherhood. Calvin is a kind, caring, and genuine individual, but may have a “MIA backslap” up his sleeve. Cal’s diligence and dedication are truly admirable traits (that even strangers in Bobst Library were able to notice). But no matter how busy he is, Cal always takes time out to catch up with his friends. Over the years, Cal and I, as well as the rest of the Team (Sanket, Raman, Shamard), have formed a special bond and countless memories. We are always able to turn to each other for support and advice or to provide balance in each other’s lives. Calvin always was and still is the voice of reason in our group, and I feel lucky to have him as a friend. I’m so excited for you and Bianca as you embark on this journey. Can’t wait to see what the future holds! Love you, brother! #TheTeamStayStrong

Breddrin, let me start by saying it's about damn time. As Bianca's cousin, I've known Calvin for about ten years, meeting for the first time at one of B's pool parties. He took me under his wing like a little brother. He is stead fast, dedicated and strong willed. His morals and ethics are unwavering and uncompromising, sometimes to his own detriment, from Zune to iPhone cough cough. However as far as friends go, there is no one better to look to or ask for.  Although I'll never forget the first time I saw you smooching on my cousin during the summer of 06. He's always been a slick one.

I am truly happy for the both of ya'll and I'm sure that what ever may come the good the bad, the rocky or the smooth, you guys will make it through because you were meant for each other.

Calvin and I have seen it and been through it all. We were born less than 3 months apart and have done pretty much everything together ever since. Family vacations, college visit, and so much before and after. He was even the Bestman at my wedding where he gave a very memorable speech. I have so much to say about Calvin but I am trying to keep this under a 140 characters. Happy and proud of my right hand man and his to use her words his "biancé"

C-Van and I met back in homeroom our freshman year of high school 15 years ago. It took a few months for us to bond, since he was always busy chatting with the ladies, but we have been friends ever since. Concert band, student ambassadors, and Model UN were just a few of the clubs we were in together, on top of all the nerdy science classes he studied too hard for. Fate lead to us both going to NYU and living together for the first two years (before Cal grew up to become an RA). It's been amazing watching him succeed in everything he does and I am so proud of the doctor he has become. I remember when Calvin first told me about the amazing girl he met between freshman and sophomore year, and after meeting Bianca, I could understood why he was so enamored. I am so happy for both of you and I can't wait to celebrate with you!

I met Calvin during the first week of summer orientation before college; I can remember how naturally we greeted each other in the elevator for the first time. The rest, as we say, is history. We lived together through most of our four years, so it's easy to say that we've been through a lot. From the lows of bombing exams sophomore year, to the highs of graduating medical school together, and lots of other little life stuff in between- we've lived pretty parallel lives. A plus side to this is knowing a lot of little things about Cal that provide excellent ammo in case he tries to act up (Did you know: Cal has an insane sweet tooth; he once crushed an entire box of my Chips Ahoy cookies while I was gone for the night). But we'll leave that for another discussion.

In all seriousness, Calvin is the literally best guy I know. I couldn't be happier for my brother and best friend, and there is no one I can think of that is a more perfect compliment to him than Bianca. I can't wait to celebrate with you both and help make it a timeless evening. Live, Laugh, Lamberts. Cheers!

I have been with Cal and the other breddrens since the beginning! It all started with a tequila shot for lunch at Negril restaurant at NYU and we have been cruising ever since. My man is the team's guiding light and moral compass, especially for the crazier and "morally flexible" of us in our earlier days. He's always been there for a brother in need, even though he can eat entire box of Waffle Crisps (wtf man). He's a smart guy (don't listen what people say about him) but an amazing friend and brother. Looking forward to partying with you guys on your big day and the rest of your lives! #jujuonthatbeat
